We are happy to announce that the sediment removal from the fore bay began at the end of August. The project will take between 4 to 6 months to complete, depending on the weather (rain) this season. A dam was installed to block off the fore bay from the main lake, the water was further drained from the fore bay and put in the main lake. The fish and turtles were relocated to the main lake. Once the fore bay is complete, the entire lake will be restocked with fish. Below please find pictures of the area as it began. Thank you to Elvis Copelli for the pictures. We will keep you posted on the progress. The pool area deck repair, staining and mastic replacement have been completed as of early last week. The area is currently open along with the splash park.
Included below are a few pictures of the completed work. Please come down to the facilities to enjoy! |
