March Field Air & Space Expo - FREE

March Air Base will hold the March Field Air & Space Expo on April 7th-8th from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 2145 Graeber St., March Air Reserve Base, CA 92518

The event is FREE. The gates will be open for parking from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with the air show and exhibitions from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with the gates closing at 6:30 p.m.

You will enjoy the different presentations from many airplanes from different locations.

EASTER CELEBRATION

The Association is holding its Annual Easter Celebration!

Saturday, March 24
10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Enjoy jumpers, face painters, egg hunt, games, jelly bean guess, pie eating contest, popcorn, snow cones, and meet the Easter Bunny!

Egg Hunt times:
0 - 7 year olds & Special Needs,
10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

8 - 13 year olds
12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Easter bags will be provided for the egg hunt on a first come first serve basis.

Don’t forget to bring your camera to take a picture with the Easter Bunny.

FREE MULCH FROM THE CITY OF MORENO VALLEY

FREE MULCH FROM THE CITY OF MORENO VALLEY:

Help Keep Moreno Valley Beautiful by participating in a Free Mulch Give Away on Saturday, March 24.

In the event of rain, the mulch give away will be rescheduled to a future date. This event is reserved for Moreno Valley residents.

Mulch retains moisture, allowing residents to save money by reducing the amount of water needed for plants. It also helps control erosion and breaks down into nutrients which enrich your soil.

The City will provide one backhoe scoop of mulch per resident, per visit, while supplies last. Please bring a tarp to cover your mulch. Residents with passenger cars and vans are required to bring containers or bags. Tools and on-site supervision will be provided.

The City of Moreno Valley created the Keep Moreno Valley Beautiful Program to encourage the community to be a part of the City’s beautification efforts. The Keep Moreno Valley Beautiful Program mission is to build partnerships which inspire community engagement and the development of beautification programs that enhance the quality of life and civic pride in the City of Moreno Valley.

Facilities Progress

3/8/2018

Progress continues at the facilities. The new fountain has been installed in the courtyard. The concrete around the pool area has been completed with the brick inlays to be completed by Monday. We are currently waiting for the City to sign off on the pool/spa/wader in order to continue with the plaster. A second coat of sealer will be added to the stamped concrete and then the planters will be moved back.

We hope to have the facilities open in the next month, dependent on city sign off on the pool/spa/wader.

Facility Update

Due to rain, the laying of concrete in the pool area will commence next week.

Please note that the entire grass area in the facility is off-limits due to the reseeding of the grass. Please do not step on the grass.
