In honor of Earth Day, the City of Moreno Valley is providing FREE MULCH for Moreno Valley residents on Saturday April 22 beginning at 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the City Corporate Yard located at 15670 Perris Blvd.

The City will provide one truckload or 100 gallons of mulch per party.  Please keep in mind that the mulch may still contain a small portion of non-green waste matters.  Tools and onsite supervision will be provided.

This year the Association retained a pool monitor company and will not be hiring directly.  However, if you would like to inquire on applying for a pool monitor position for the season, please contact the office at (951) 485-2020 for additional information.

Looking for a safe and free way to dispose of hazardous household waste?
 
Moreno Valley is holding a free Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) and Electronic Waste (E-Waste) Collection Event on Saturday April 15.
 
Business or non‐profit waste will not be accepted. Residents are allowed to make multiple drop offs at the collection event, but are limited to 125 pounds or 15 gallons of material per trip.  Individual containers should not exceed five gallons or weigh more than 50 pounds.
 
Free Household Hazardous Waste and Electronic Waste Collection 
Saturday, April 15 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
City Yard, 15670 Perris Blvd
 
These items will be accepted: 
      Household products (used chemicals, paint, pesticides, lightbulbs, etc.)
      Used motor oil, antifreeze, and fuel
      Household and automotive batteries
      Sharps (needles/syringes or lancets)
      Electronic waste (televisions, computers, VCRs, telephones, etc.)
 
These items will NOT be accepted:
      Explosives
      Radioactive waste
      Ammunition
      Asbestos waste
      Compressed gas cylinders over 40 pounds
      Infectious or medical waste (other than sharps)
      Bulky Items (sofas, mattresses, appliances, used tires, etc.)

The City of Moreno Valley is holding its annual “Springtastic Festival and Egg Hunt” on Saturday April 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Sunnymead Park located at 12655 Perris Blvd.
 
Come out to enjoy performances and activities as well as a free egg hunt for children between the ages of 2 and 10. Kids will be assigned to different areas based on their age with accommodations for children with special needs.
 
Breakfast will be provided at a cost of $5.00.
